One day in a faraway place, there lived two sisters named Sari and Rani. Sari was an arrogant and rude girl, while Rani was a friendly and kind girl. They lived in an old hut by the river. Both lived in poverty and only ate once a day.

One day, Sari asked Rani to buy two pieces of cake at the market for them to eat. Rani went to the market and bought it. On the way home, Rani met a woman and her child who looked hungry, both held their stomachs, looked very pale and weak.

Rani felt sorry, then gave the cake she bought to them. The woman and her son smiled happily, thanked her and ate the cake hungrily. Rani continued her way back home. She knew that her sister would scold her for sure, but she thought that the woman and her son deserved to eat the cake because they must have not eaten in days.

Rani pun kembali melanjutkan perjalanan pulang

As Rani walked by the river, she saw a stranded fish. She immediately took it and thought she would take it home to cook it. When she lifted the fish, suddenly the fish burst into tears. Rani felt sorry and immediately released the fish back into the river. Rani went back to continue the way home.

Rani sangat senang lalu mengucapkan terima kasih.

Unexpectedly, suddenly a woman appeared in front of her. The woman was an angel, then she smiled and said, “O beautiful girl, you are really kind. I will gift you a magic pot. Take it home! When you are hungry, rub the pot and think of one food, then the delicious food will be served in it”. Rani was very happy then thanked her.

Sari saw Rani did not bring some cakes, but a pan. She immediately scolded her sister, then grabbed the pot and threw it away. Rani shouted and immediately took the pot on the floor. Rani says, “It is a magic pot that will make us never feel hungry again. Sari laughed and mocked her sister, “Have you lost your mind?”.

Then Rani put the pot on the table and rubbed it, she thought of wheat bread. Unexpectedly, some pieces of warm wheat bread served in the pot. Sari was shocked and couldn ‘t believe it, she apologized to her sister for scolding her. Then they ate the wheat bread together and they never felt hungry again since then.
